Julie Christie makes me go misty

JUST A LITTLE NOTE: I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS AT THE ACTIONS OF THE POLICE TO THE PROTESTS AGAINST THE FRAUDULENT ELECTIONS! RUSSIA IS 'MEANT' TO BE A DEMOCRACY AND WHILE I'M SCARED AT THE STATE OF MY COUNTRY RIGHT NOW AND DON'T WANT A REVOLUTION, AS HONEST CITIZENS WE DESERVE THE RIGHT TO EXERCISE OUR FREEDOMS AND OUR OPINIONS! WE, AS PROUD PEOPLE DESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE WE FEEL SUCH PRIDE AND MOST OF ALL, FEEL PROUD TO BE CITIZENS OF OUR COUNTRY! I DON'T  WANT A REVOLUTION LIKE SYRIA OR EGYPT OR A CIVIL CONFLICT LIKE LIBYA, INSTEAD I AND MILLIONS OF OTHERS WANT A REVOLUTION WITHIN THE GOVERNMENT BECAUSE RIGHT NOW, MANY OF US ARE ASHAMED TO BE FROM A COUNTRY CALLED RUSSIA AND THAT IS NOT HOW IT SHOULD BE!

  38. Great post. I worry about the situation in Russia a lot. I hate these abusing and mostly pointless stereotypes about Russians. I proud to be Russian, I love my country, our history, culture and people. And I HATE CNN... totally preconceived channel aiming hot news and rating only... сomparing the situation in Russia with Syrian... what a nonsense!!!!!!!!!!!!

  51. Thanks so much for sharing this - I don't think I've ever really heard of her but she makes great hair and outfit inspiration and I always love me some 60s! And about the situation in Russia, I've of course heard about it on the news and it must be so frustrating for yo. I can't imagine that they will be able continue do this, Medvedev and Putin changing roles for ever and ever. I really hope you get a real democracy in the near future!

  54. I really hope the best for Russia, Democracy such an important issue, even in my country Indonesia..we still try hard to make it work.

    Somehow all the actresses from 40s, 50s, 60s era always look so enchanting, including this lady. Julie is definitely the unforgetable lady :)
